Gilmour - Live - 26-August-2006 Gdansk - Poland

One of Mr. Gilmour's final concerts for On An Island was at the shipyards of Gdansk, Poland. Four of the songs were broadcast on a local radio station. A friend was kind enough to record them... So, here you are... Four *stellar* tunes!

  1. Thanks for this post. Do you have (in lossless) and can you eventually post Dave's concert in Firenze, Italy on 2006-08-02

  2. The Gdansk tracks here are in lossless. .shn is lossless - an older version of .flac, if you like.

Sorry... I don't have the other show that you mentioned. B-( I'll ask around, though...

  3. I am very familar with lossless shn and flac formats since several years. My question was only about 2006 Dave's Firenze concert in lossless (sorry for the confusion). I am alo desesperately looking since many years for a boot of Pink Floyd in France in December 8th, 1972, i.e.

PF -1972-12-08 - Parc des Expositions, Nancy, France

To my knowledge, no boot exists for this show.A very good/close friend of mine was attending this show. So I will be very happy and curious to listen this concert and make him a surprise.

  5. I am downloading the Firenze show now & will upload whenever it's done. It'll be a while. B-)

I have checked & don't know anyone with the 8-Dec-72 show. But, there are piles & piles of footage of French concerts out there...

  6. Very good news. I am interesting in any boots of PF in France. If you are looking to some specific ones and if I can I will be glad to help you in return. For now I post randomly materials on my blog from my pretty huge archives (> 1000 PF boots collection, and also on DG and RW of course). So if you have specific request, don't hesitate.
