Kate Bush - The Line, The Cross & The Curve

A transfer of my Japanese laser disk. This is a brilliant film... I wish she'd done many more like it.

Kate Bush - The Single File

This is the second DVD for The Whole Story set (scroll down a bit). The Single File laser disk (from which some of this DVD is taken) is one of the rarer KB items out there.

Future Posts - FYI

I recently found a large number of Gilmour concerts & have begun to post them. There are many more in the works. Also, I have posted a Kate Bush item or two in the past, rather casually, not thinking much about them. Even though it's been months, people keep writing very nice helpful comments and keep downloading the files. Many, many more people have downloaded Kate-related audio than the typical Floyd post. I am wondering whether or not there is simply a lot more Floyd out there to be had or pitifully little KB or both.

I'm planning to throw caution to the wind and post a Kate Bush DVD project that I created some time ago. If it is well received, I'll increase the ratio of Kate:Floyd substantially in future.

Breathe-DVD-008 - The Final Cut Video

There are other versions of these videos out there, but they all suck out loud compared with this version.

Roger Waters - Hello (I Love You) - Video

More Barbican - 2007-May-10 - Flickering Flame

Just when you think you've seen all of the material that's out there, you find something else.. Not as nice as an official release, but I'll take whatever I can get...

Pink Floyd - Time Capsule

You guys like scans of old magazine articles and that sort of thing ? It's called ephemera... I happen to think it's a great way to relax.

Roger In Rio - HRV Remaster

This concert was *supposed* to have been streamed online. I remember sitting there, ready to capture the web stream. But, it was cancelled at the last moment. I was, therefore, very happy to learn that the Portugese TV broadcast happened - and was captured by some kind soul. Sadly, though, it was full of all manner of technical glitches. Happily, the nice folks at Harvested spent a few hours sorting it all out for you nice folks.

Robyn Hitchcock - 120 Minutes - Songs Only

15-Sept-91 - Birds In Perspex
14-Feb-93 - The Rest

I have a number of episodes of 120 Minutes hosted by or featuring Robyn Hitchcock. Each is several hours (dual layer DVD projects) of mostly interviews and non-RH content. I thought it might be nice to compile Robyn's live performances together, as they are the content of primary interest among his fans. These are taken from original VHS tapes, so look pretty darn nice.

Jill Sobule is featured in a few videos over at http://www.mydamnchannel.com/
Each has a "download" button that you can use to grab the videos for offline use, should you desire that.

A CDR single for San Francisco recently fell out of the sky.... and, since it sounds much better than the online audio, I put it here for your consideration.

The Surrogate Band - 16-Aug-08

Do you guys like tribute bands? I am lucky enough to have a Pink Floyd tribute band that tours locally. They are very taper-friendly. I brought my camera to a recent show at a Bell's. They played for about 3 hours. I have been trying to create DVD projects for each set, but haven't gotten as much done as I had hoped, due to .. you know, life. Here are the links for the first set. If you guys respond positively, I'll post the rest in coming days.

The Wall - Parker's Perspective

You may be aware that the commentary on both of the official editions of the DVD is by Roger Waters and Gerald Scarfe. Alan Parker (the director) had a commentary track on the insanely limited second edition of the laser disk. (Most copies of the laser disk are the first edition and do not contain the Alan Parker commentary.)

As we have spent an awfully long time on Mr. Gilmour's "feel good" music from On An Island, I thought we were long over due to wallow around in a little misery with Mr. Waters and Mr. Parker.

Here are two DVDs, containing the film with Mr. Parker's commentary track. The artwork is in the archive.

Gandalf Murphy - Live In New Jersey - 15-Aug-08

These guys are the single greatest band touring today. Speaking of today, a concert was broadcast on WNTI earlier this evening. In the amazingly unlikely event that you did not tune in, I have taken the liberty of preserving the .mp3 stream for you here.

David Gilmour - Jay Leno - 20-April-06

I posted some Flash Video versions of Mr. Gilmour's appearance here. That post included both songs. This post features just the one song, but at really groovy picture quality. This typical quality DVD was created using a HD recording of the program... This was the same HD source (Mr. Tabor's, I believe) that was used for the HRV DVD.

The Complete Wall Weeds

All 25 original Wall shows from 1980 and 1981. Each show is a 2 CD set. Each set comes complete with unique art files. There was much talk at the time of the release of this set about whether or not they were genuine. Trading of these guys was forbidden by several trading groups as a result. I can not add anything to that discussion. I am just making the files available. Because of all of the fuss - true or not - the files are fairly hard to come by. If you wish to give them a listen, be my guest. You can grab any show or shows independent of the others. If you have half of them already, there's no need to duplicate your efforts.
