The Surrogate Band - 16-Aug-08
Do you guys like tribute bands? I am lucky enough to have a Pink Floyd tribute band that tours locally. They are very taper-friendly. I brought my camera to a recent show at a Bell's. They played for about 3 hours. I have been trying to create DVD projects for each set, but haven't gotten as much done as I had hoped, due to .. you know, life. Here are the links for the first set. If you guys respond positively, I'll post the rest in coming days.

The Wall - Parker's Perspective
You may be aware that the commentary on both of the official editions of the DVD is by Roger Waters and Gerald Scarfe. Alan Parker (the director) had a commentary track on the insanely limited second edition of the laser disk. (Most copies of the laser disk are the first edition and do not contain the Alan Parker commentary.)
As we have spent an awfully long time on Mr. Gilmour's "feel good" music from On An Island, I thought we were long over due to wallow around in a little misery with Mr. Waters and Mr. Parker.
Here are two DVDs, containing the film with Mr. Parker's commentary track. The artwork is in the archive.

The Complete Wall Weeds
All 25 original Wall shows from 1980 and 1981. Each show is a 2 CD set. Each set comes complete with unique art files. There was much talk at the time of the release of this set about whether or not they were genuine. Trading of these guys was forbidden by several trading groups as a result. I can not add anything to that discussion. I am just making the files available. Because of all of the fuss - true or not - the files are fairly hard to come by. If you wish to give them a listen, be my guest. You can grab any show or shows independent of the others. If you have half of them already, there's no need to duplicate your efforts.

Download Manager
I happened to think that perhaps some people have premium Rapidshare accounts, but are not able to effectively use the resource for which you have paid. What you need is a download manager. You just load it with links, then hop off to work or to bed. The software will download one file after the next for days & days if needed to get everything for you.
I put some tools and instructions here.
Let me know if you have any questions, etc. Hopefully, this will make grabbing the larger posts much easier for some people.

Questions & Answers # 3
There's nothing that I like more than an interview that I haven't seen or heard previously. Call me weird, but I'm not a big fan of live recordings... There are good ones, don't get me wrong. To me, though, they get old pretty fast. Interviews, on the other hand, contain a much larger percentage of new material or information.
It was with great delight that I was given the Q&A DVD series. They're all interviews. Breathe has done an incredible job of collecting and assembling these projects for us. Technology & time willing, I will bring you the entire series.. You need them all!

Official Corrective Post - Miami Soundboard
The links for the Miaimi Soundboard post have been replaced with new files. Hopefully, this time, they'll work for y'all. I verified the .flac files and then packed to .rar. Then, I extracted from the .rar and verified the resulting .flac files. All seemed good on this end. So, give it a whirl & see what happens... Thanks for reporting the problem so quickly!

The Creeping Malaise - Vancouver - 08-April-75 - MoLM
I was unable to locate any cover art for this Men of Leisure Music release. I found their web site. But, there was nothing on it about cover art, so I guess we're out of luck.
Still, this is a jolly nice recording from one of the tours that is typically under-represented. Grab it & love it!

Floyd - 1977-March-15 - Master
This is an odd case.. One of the files is called "15-3-77 MASTER + IF PIGS COULD FLY- 1977-03-15" The title, "If Pigs Could Fly" generally refers to a different show (from January 1977). However, all of the dates in all of the files for this guy are consistent. (1977-March-15) No worries there. Personally, I would suggest disregarding the references to flying pigs.
It didn't come with any art. Bummer.
