CD - Russell Gate Tapes - Live Compilation

Probably the most obscure item in the boxes was this 2 CD set. It's a compilation of various Live performances. But, sadly, there is no index detailing the dates. The title, too, is a bit of a mystery.. In fact, I initially sorted this with the non-Floyd. It was only on the second pass through that I played it & discovered that it was very much worth copying.

Disc 1

1) Raving & Drooling – This I think is from one of the November 1974 gigs - SQ. is superb and better than anything I have…… it’s not the 15th and I don’t think it’s the 16th or 17th either – perhaps it’s from Dec 74 or could be an unknown source up until now – it’s bloody good though.

2) Green is the Colour/CWTAE
3) Astronomy Domine
4) ASOS
5) Raving and Drooling – From Echoes in the Gardens June 18 1975
6) STCFTHOTS

Disc 2

1) IO – great version
2) CWTAE
3) This is Moonhead possibly? Either that or Libest Spacement Monitor…not sure on the date – possibly Nov. 1970
4) Violent Sequence
5) IO
6) The Amazing Pudding/AHM

Some Live Pink Floyd Recordings

When I got the DATs of the Pink Floyd reels (detailed below - scroll down a bit), the same nice guy gave me a few boxes of CDs. Most of these were non-Floyd or Harvested material or other things that weren't really "essential". But, several were very interesting. I ripped them to .wav and converted to .shn. I wrote down whatever source information was present on the CDs. I can't promise that it's true or provide information where there wasn't anything recorded.... But, I would like to share the music with you nice folks. It's brought hours of joy to me & hope that you will enjoy it as well.

As always, if you have additional information or corrections or whatever, you would be very welcome to leave a comment or send an email.

One last thing... I happen to really like the bootleg art that circulates, so I have tried to include art with each of these guys. But, technically, it should be understood that although they are from the same date, the art doesn't "go" with the recordings. Just for the obsessives out there.

Gandalf Murphy - BlissFest - 12-July-2008

Gandalf Murphy played BlissFest twice on Saturday - once on the main stage and once in the dance tent. The audience at the main stage was kinda tired, I think, from being out in the sun all day. They weren't really clapping much for other artists. Gandalf Murphy woke'em up a bit - people began clapping and hooting between each song! Things moved from groovy to transcendant in the Dance Tent. Joziah came out after their set and told the audience that he wouldn't do drugs anymore - that whenever he was feeling down, he would "just come find you guys". I filmed most of the Dance Tent set and took lots of photos during their time on the main stage.

Gandalf Murphy - 11-July-08 - LSSU

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to the greatest rock band IN THE WORLD, apart from the Floyd, of course. Gandalf Murphy, and I don't say this lightly, endevor to lay bare the Mysteries Of The Universe. They create their own country routinely. They have even created their own religion - primarily so that they can poke fun at it & feel good about belonging to it.

I have just returned from seeing Gandalf Murphy And The Slambovian Circus Of Dreams three times. It was an absolutely incredible, mind-blowing three days. As I like you & want you to run away to the Circus with the rest of us, I filmed some of two of the three shows.

The adventure started with front row tickets to their show at Lake Superior State University. Seemed like a nice, quiet campus in a nice quiet town. Terrible streets, though. But, I digress.

Please enjoy these films.. I included some of their more Floydian songs as well as one of the newest (from the new album). They are selling the new album and have had at least 2 record release parties for it. But, I guess that it's not officially "for sale" until August. Go figure.

Also, I scanned a few of the paper goods that I picked up - a handbill, ticket stubs, flier - if they would be of any interest.
I have flown half-way across the country - twice - to see these guys. They are *that* good.

JS/HRV/PFA 3307 - Run Rabbit Run

This title is no longer an "official" part of the Harvested catalog. It, like the London Rehearsals, was made in conjunction with other folks. As it is a side project, it may not have circulated as much as the "official" titles, so I thought it might be nice to include it here. The groovy cover art is included in the archive. (Also, see the Harvested art archive in the post below.)

Harvested - Art Collection

To be absolutely clear - there is ONLY ONE place to go for Official Harvested Art. That place, of course, is www.harvested.org. However, for the completists and obsessives out there, I understand that it's often amusing to look through alternate or obsolete images.. I can't say that I have all of them, but I have quite a few.. Here are all of the Harvested Images that I have cluttering up my hard drive. Enjoy!
